Zoo Lights

We took Oliver to Hogle Zoo to see the lights. He had a great time seeing all of the animals and looking at all of the lights. His favorite thing was seeing the tigers playing. He also had fun watching some little monkeys swinging.

Oliver is getting so big. He really loves to cuddle with mom and dad. Some new words Oliver can say are; all done, eat, hot, bye bye, no, he can blow kisses and count to 3 (kinda). He had his 15 month appointment and was so good for his doctor. Here are his stats:

Weight-20.28 pounds 4%
Height- 29.72 inches 12%
Head- 18.5 inches 44%

Karter Christopher Roitz

This is my new little nephew Karter Christopher Roitz. He was born at 5:01pm on November 30th. I was lucky enough to be there when he was born. He is such a cute little guy. He was 7.4 pounds and 19 inches. Beth did such a great job! I swear she has babies without breaking a sweat. We are so happy to have this little guy in our family!

New Pictures

We had Oliver's pictures taken and they turned out super cute! Hope you like them as much as we do. Oliver is so independent! He thinks he is such a big boy and wants to do everything himself. He is running around the house and climbing on everything. He loves Sesame Street and suckers. He is such a funny little guy.

Halloween

We had so much fun on Halloween. We went to Boo at the Zoo at Hogle Zoo. Ollie got lots of candy and had a great time seeing all of the animals. He especially loved the giraffes. He could have looked at them all day. Then we went trick or treating to all of Ollie's Utah grandparents. By the end of the night he was pooped but had lots of candy!

The Best Man Ever!

Happy 29th birthday to my awesome husband Bobby! He really is an amazing husband, father, and person. He is truly a kind and funny person and a lot of fun to live with. I am so lucky to have him as my husband. He is thoughtful in ways that I never expect. He does all of the things around the house that he knows I hate to do. Not to mention that he is so handsome and charming, he makes me fall in love with him all of the time. He is such a great father too. He has no problem getting up with Ollie in the middle of the night or changing the worst of the diapers. He can even laugh off a full on puke attack without even flinching. It is so fun to watch him entertain Oliver. No one could do a better job of leading our family. For all of these reasons and a zillion (yes zillion) more. We love you Bobby! Happy Birthday.

Fall Fun

We love fall! It has been such nice weather to be outside. We have had an amazing time hiking every weekend. Oliver LOVES to hike. We encountered a mama moose and calf on our last hike. That resulted in a not so fun detour. We have also had some great bike rides around our lake. Oliver gets so excited when he sees his helmet and knows what is coming. I really hope winter takes it's time getting here.

Ollie's Big Day

Oliver is one year old! I can't believe a year has gone by since Oliver came into the world. He is such a sweet little guy and has brought so much happiness into our lives. He has a great sense of humor and thinks everything is so funny. He loves to roughhouse with his dad. Some of his favorite foods are yogurt, cheese, turkey, and black beans. At 12 months Oliver:

-Say uh-oh when he drops something
-Roar and say moo
-Has four teeth more coming in
-Has taken a few steps on his own
-Show you where his nose is and wave goodbye
-Weighs 18.5 pounds (3rd percentile)
-Is 29.5 inches tall (40th percentile)

We had a bug themed BBQ to celebrate his big day. He had lots of friends and family there to share his day. He had a cute little bug cake all to himself and had a great time digging into it.

Vacation

I love vacation! We went to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for our annual Bryant family reunion. We had such a great time. We hiked, biked, ran, ate, shopped, and had a blast exploring Steamboat. One of my favorite activities was riding a gondola to the top of the mountain to have lunch. We also had a great time on the alpine slide. It was great to spend time with everyone. Can't wait until next year!
