Update

I know I know, I have been the worst blogger ever this past month. In my defense I have had to work a ton. Oliver is getting so big! Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks. I will do a Christmas post soon... promise.

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken in October and I just got the CD so I thought I would share a few of our favorites. These were taken at my sister Beth's house (amazing I know). Oliver did a great job and his pictures turned out really well.

Halloween!

This year for Halloween we went to my friend Stephanie's house. She had lots of yummy goodies and kicked my butt at Wii bowling. Oliver went as a penguin and we all had a great time.

2 Months and 28 Years

We had an exciting weekend. Bobby turned 28 years old and Oliver turned 2 months old. We had lots of cake and dinners with Bobby's family. He is such a good husband and father. I am so lucky to have him as my husband. He takes great care of our little family. He has had quite the year!


Oliver had his 2 month check up and here are his stats:

Ollie Update

Oliver is getting so big! He can smile now and is such a happy baby. He still loves to cuddle and I hope he doesn't grow out of that too soon. He has had a lot of fun "playing" with his cousins. He started daycare this week while I went back to work. He gets to do some really fun things there and the people are so nice. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

4 Weeks!

My baby boy is 4 weeks old! I tried to have a little photo shoot with him today but he was not loving it. He is awake a little more each day which I love. We introduced the bottle this week and it didn't even faze him. Oliver is starting to sporadically smile. He is losing some of his baby hair and is looking a little like papa in that respect;). I love to cuddle with him in the morning and am really cherishing my time at home with him. Here are a few pictures from this week!

Seriously...

This morning Oliver, Lily, and Dexter were sleeping so I hopped in the shower. When I got out Oliver was still sleeping but Dexter was on my bed armed with a ink pen in his mouth! He had drawn all over our comforter with the pen. HE IS A DOG!!! Seriously! Who's dog does that? He knew he was in trouble when I saw him and he promptly ran out of the room.

2 week check up

Oliver had his 2 week check up on Wednesday. He passed his hearing test and is looking great. He now weighs 8.3 pounds! He still sleeps most of the time but is now awake for a little while too. I am loving being home with him. He does the cutest little things that make us laugh. I couldn't have imagined how it felt to be a mom. It really is amazing how much you can love someone you just met. He is such an amazing little guy. Here are a few pictures from this week.

1 Week Old

Oliver is 1 week old. He is such a good boy. He mostly sleeps but now is awake for short periods throughout the day... and quite a bit last night...yawn. We are still getting used to having our little guy around. My mom stayed with us the fist few nights so that was a big help. Beth also came and walked us through his first bath. FYI- he does not like bath time. I think the neatest thing is seeing Bobby be such an incredible dad. Bobby is the one who gets up with him at night (I do have to feed him). He had never changed a diaper until Ollie arrived but has become an expert in a short amount of time. I am so lucky to have such an amazing little family.

Welcome to the World Oliver!

At 8:09am on August 26th at we welcomed Oliver Bryant Tateoka into the world. He weighed 7.8 pounds and was 21 inches long. He is such a good baby! We are so excited he is finally here and a part of our family.

Oliver actually weighed 7 lb. 7.8 oz but they rounded it up to 7 lb. 8 oz for the record books.

We think that is a perfect size and we think he is perfect too.
