Third Trimester Class

So Bobby and I are 1/2 way through our Third Trimester Class we are taking at the hospital. We attend class 2 hours every week for 6 weeks. This will end up being a good 12 hours of training for our big day and thereafter. This class had been very helpful in a lot of ways and also terrifying in all of the ways you would expect. For instance... I was unsure whether I wanted an epidural or not until class #2. We watched the labor process for 3 different women and learned about the different stages of labor and how long they usually last. That video was life changing. Epidural- yes please. Why the mothers in the video were not wearing anything AT ALL- still not sure.

Last nights class was actually very interesting in a non scary way. We learned about the Dunstan Baby Language. This is where you can tell what your baby needs by the "words" they say when they are crying. Example: They make a "neh" sound when they are hungry and an "owh" sound when they are tired. Has anyone ever heard of this? Can anyone tell what their baby (ages 0-3 months) needs by the sound of their cry? ...just curious.

Thanksgiving Point Shower

Today the lovely ladies at work threw me my first baby shower! We had lunch at the Trellis Cafe and then I got to open my fabulous gifts. All of the cute presents made me want to have Oliver now! It was so fun to chat during lunch. I work with such a fun group!

Here to celebrate are Baby Kate, Becky, Hillary (missing from picture), Brooke, Chelsi, Kat, Mo, Jessica, Pam (taking the picture), Lorraine, Me, Steph, and Baby Garrett!

Kat made her famous sugar cookies for favors- they are the best!

These are the centerpieces Chelsi did and the invitation that Steph made! Thanks girls!
Here I am with one of my many awesome gifts. Thanks guys! I had such a great time!

The Amazing Lora

I have to tell you how AMAZING Lora, the florist at Thanksgiving Point is. Not only is she such a kind and funny lady but she is super talented. She is the best! She came over and painted deer in Oliver's nursery and they couldn't be cuter. They totally make the room! Check out her creation. I couldn't be happier... Thanks Lora, Chelsi, and Lulu!

4th of July Weekend

We spent the 4th of July weekend in WY visiting the family. We watched the parade in Fort Bridger, went golfing in Kemmerer, and watched fireworks up at the Roitz Ranch. We had a great time but our camera ran out of batteries while we were golfing so I don't have pictures of everything. Here are a few highlights from the weekend.

Cute Shower

Today we had a baby shower for my boss Mo. Mo was a little anti-party so we just had a small group and had a KFC (her favorite) lunch. It was such a pretty picnic and the weather was so nice. It is so fun to have all these baby boys on the way. I am not kidding when I say our office is a baby boy factory!
